Terms of use

The rules for using Baseball Time, in plain words.

The short version

  • Baseball Time is a free way to find youth baseball tournaments with open brackets. It doesn’t run tournaments or take registrations.
  • Tournament details and team counts come from each organizer’s public website. They can be out of date or wrong, so check with the organizer before you register, pay or travel.
  • Only sign up for alerts with an email address that’s yours, and don’t try to overload or break the site.

Who we are

Baseball Time, at youthbaseballtime.com and youthbaseballtimeintx.com, is run by Saw Tech Solutions LLC, a Texas company (“we” and “us”). By using either site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

Where the information comes from

  • Tournament names, dates, places, fees and team counts are gathered from schedules that organizers publish on their own websites, and rechecked twice a day. Between checks, and whenever an organizer changes their site, what we show can lag behind or be wrong.
  • The organizer’s own information always wins. Confirm dates, age groups, fees, divisions and openings with them before you commit.
  • Distances are straight-line miles, not driving distance. Weather comes from a public forecast and is a guide only. “Turf” is taken from the event’s name, and its absence doesn’t mean grass.

Registering and paying

We don’t take registrations, entry fees or payments for tournaments. “Register” takes you to the organizer’s site, and anything you sign up for or pay there is between you and the organizer, under their terms. A “Buy me a coffee” tip is optional, goes through that service, and doesn’t buy anything extra on this site.

Alerts and calendar feeds

Email alerts and calendar feeds are free. Only sign up an address that’s yours or that you’re allowed to use. Every alert email has a one-tap unsubscribe, and you can stop a calendar feed by removing it from your calendar. Our privacy policy explains what we keep.

Using it fairly

  • Don’t overload the site or its data with automated requests, or try to get around its limits.
  • Don’t try to break it, get into anything that isn’t public, or sign up other people’s email addresses.
  • Don’t copy the site, or present it or its data as your own.

Organizers

Tournament and organization names belong to their owners. Listing a tournament doesn’t mean we’re connected to or endorsed by its organizer, or that we endorse it. If you run a tournament and something we show is wrong, or you’d like it removed, email info@youthbaseballtime.com with a link to the event and we’ll fix it.

What belongs to whom

The site’s design, words, logo and the name Baseball Time belong to us. The facts about each tournament belong to whoever published them.

Free, for now

Baseball Time is free. If we ever add anything paid, we’ll say so clearly, and nobody will be charged without agreeing to it first.

No promises

We work hard to keep the site accurate and running, but it’s offered “as is,” without any promise that it’s complete, current, or always available. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss from using it or relying on it, including a missed registration, a full or cancelled bracket, or a wasted trip. If we are liable, it’s limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and the law

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top first. Using the site after that means you accept the change. These terms follow the laws of the State of Texas. Questions go to info@youthbaseballtime.com.
